Julian van der Zwet joined Chainresult in December 2023. In his role as junior consultant, he supports companies in the agri-food sector with ERP migrations and other software implementations. In addition to his native language of Dutch, he speaks English, German and Swedish, and has basic knowledge of Chinese, French and Spanish. He is currently learning Russian.
Julian comes from Veneta.com, an online specialist in custom window coverings, where he was an SAP consultant responsible for the internal SAP system design and further development of this system to facilitate the company’s growth.
Julian studied business administration at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences and did his graduate work in China. He then earned a master’s degree in supply chain and process management from Sweden’s Linnaeus University.
Language node
Julian likes to study cultures and languages and enjoys drawing parallels between them. “Scandinavian languages have many similarities to Dutch. Logical, since they come from the same family of languages. However, there are also other languages, such as Russian, that have similar words to Swedish, for example, and vice versa. These words have stuck out from their trading history, for example. I enjoy making these relationships and testing similarities in language against similarities in culture and history.”
